Mallard Computer, Inc. Is Founded
Names Nathan Parker as President/CEO, Patents Wi-Net™
On April 30, 2008, a new information technology corporation was successfully founded in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Known as Mallard Computer, Inc., the company’s goal is to provide tomorrow’s technology to be effectively and efficiently used in the ministry to fulfill the Great Commission. During the corporate founding which was registered by Janie Evins, one of Mallard’s attorneys, Nathan Parker was named as the corporation’s President/CEO. J. Sky Tapp was also appointed as one of Mallard’s attorneys as well. Parker, the son of Bruce and Faye Parker, is a native of Hot Springs, is 17 years old, and is a senior in high school through the A Beka Academy homeschool program. Parker is also a WeatherBug Backyard Sr. Anchor for Hot Springs, a member of the NWS CWOP program and Wunderground.com, and a ten year student of Barbara Dodson (wife of piano technician Charles Dodson) and a national member of the NFSM piano playing auditions. He is also a registered Apple Developer for the Macintosh platform, and he plans to become a registered iPhone Developer by summer of 2009. He also has years of experience with Logos Bible Software, recently publishing John G. Butler’s Alliterated Sermon Outlines under the Libronix platform, and also plans to develop technology that will greatly benefit them in the future. He will be pursuing a doctorate degree in ministry from Luther Rice Seminary upon graduation from A Beka Academy.
“I am extremely excited to be at the head of Mallard Computer, Inc., and I know that the Lord is going to use us in wonderful ways to fulfill the Great Commission”, stated Parker. “Already with the plans for our upcoming technology devices we have an amazing start in providing exactly what the ministries are needing so they can take the Gospel to the entire world. God has richly blessed us with the wisdom and knowledge we need to build amazing technological products, and we want to use every bit of it to glorify Him. Charles Stanley stated in many of his sermons that if we want life at its best, ‘Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.’ Well that’s exactly what we’re going to do. We’re going to Obey God in everything we do and leave the rest to Him. If I can simply get the resources to build the technology that will take the Word to the World, I’ll be happier than any other person who’s ever walked this earth. I’m investing in eternity, and through Mallard, I know that, together, we can fulfill the Great Commission.”
Mallard has recently patented a device to be released next year known as Wi-Net™. Once released, this device will usher in the future of the Internet. Mallard is also working on a suite of web services known as My Mallard™, also to be released next year.
