Mallard Computer Registers Trademarks and mymallard.com Domain

On August 22, 2008, Mallard Computer, Inc., registered the trademarks “Wi-Net” and “My Mallard” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). These trademarks have been submitted to the USPTO’s Trademark Gazette and will appear in the January issue. According to Mallard’s website, these two trademarks will be used in products they will be releasing in 2009.
Furthermore, on August 27, 2009, Mallard has registered the domain mymallard.com with GoDaddy, Inc., and visiting the domain takes users to a page explaining the upcoming My Mallard web service, scheduled to be released in 2009.
Nathan Parker, Mallard’s President/CEO, has explained in a blog entry at Mallard’s website that the products Wi-Net and My Mallard are to arrive in 2009 shortly after their unveil at the Experience Mallard 2009 conference and keynote presentation that will be hosted by Parker himself.
